    not sure how you could bore the standard one, it has twin butterflies and is tear shaped.

    would like to see what the larger on IS like

    same here i am in process of saving up to buy these from alpina just got more important things, but if i get them soon i will post pics etc!!

    for 120 bucks say 5bhp you cant complain

    i rang alpina yday and he seems to know what he's on about. so im going to get one from him as his done loads and it's good quality from what i've heard and its good value aswell

    I bought one of these and fitted it last year, here's a picture of the modded TB



    in answer to your q's

    it added 12 hp with an ITG air filter fitted at the same time (this was on a s/c engine)

    its an easy fit, you just have to disconnect the sensors etc which can corrode up a bit with the torq screws

    I have one on my iS (pictures in my thread, there are plenty) and it made a huge difference, the whole rev range was cleared up and the car pulled a lot better. It's by far one of the best mods I have done to the car so far. And dead easy to fit, pretty much plug in and play

    Only issue I had was the rev's started bouncing all over the shop and thus in my frustration hoofed it down the road and then it sorted it's self out after that.
