    I am putting a 2.8 engine in a 2.5 1997 should i put the 2.5 manifold on the 2.8 engine i think there both m52 engines where are the engine codes.

    the engines have different codes
    is the car a 323i or is it a 325i
    if it is a 325 goes under the code m50
    if it is a 323 then it has the same code as the 328 m52
    if the engine you are removing is the m50 then you should take the inlet manifold as it will free up about 10-15 bhp on the 328
