Yep that sounds about right lol. Scorpion exhausts are quite loud mate. I've got a scorpion STW cat back system on my 318iS and it's good and loud. They drone like hell at cruising speed which is annoying. My mate had one on his 328 and it sounded awesome, but yes, it was very loud.

Scorpions are like that they burble nicely, very loud at low revs, drone whilst cruising and sound like they get quieter at high revs. Not sure if that's just because your going quicker so don't hear it so much or whether the tone changes

Always had on my bike and cars. Nice quality exhausts.

Sound wise I didn't find them all that bad inside the cabin. I also found that if I kept the revs below 3-4,000 (depending on car type), the noise levels would remain rather pleasant. Once you boot it a few times, the exhaust does get louder. I always find all performance exhausts noisy on long distances but around town its spot on.

i work next to a stainless exhaust manuafcuter they do custom stuff, they are gonna make me some exhaust bungs to reduce the noise a little, il have to see how much they reduce power ,if any .

allso im thinking of some dyna matt in the boot floor to kill some of the drone lol.

defo difference in performance though ,not so much more power just it revs atlot easyer and goes like hell.

I've got a scorpion system fitted to my 318, doesn't sound too loud (maybe because it blowing left right and centre ) But mine doesn't drone unless I hold it in second gear around 4k revs. and on the motorway its not loud at all, pops when I let off the accelrator!
