Im taking my car in on monday to be serviced, inspection1 and K+N induction kit fitment. The garage thats doing it said that for the first 150 or so miles the car might not idle or run smoothly due to the change in air/fuel mix but the OBC will reprogram itself in time. Does anyone have any experience with this? It was mentioned that it cant be maunally reprogrammed to accomodate the changes in air/fuel mix. Car is an late 96 E36 320i SE.

    thanks

It shouldnt make any difference at all...
The air flow meter should correct any changes as soon as its started up. When I fitted my induction kit, it was fine as soon as it was fitted...
