    hi everyone i am new to this forum looks great, was just wondering i have a 1996 318i saloon and wanted to know how i can make it faster and whats the best ways to tune it, can it be remapped? can i fit a turbo? all suggestions welcome many thanks Greeky

    You can do/fit whatever you want to it, the only restriction is your wallet size

    Easiest/cheapest/biggest bang for buck mod is fitting a 2.5/8 6 pot engine which will work out a LOT cheaper than any turbo kits e.t.c.

    Have a search through the forum for more ideas.

    a re-map , de-cat exhaust and a good air filter with heatsheild thats really your lot mate

    i wouldnt bother turboing a 1.8 8v i would save some money and get hold of a 328 or even an m3 engine and slap in
    bmw + rain = hanging out with your tail out
