At the moment the engine is stock however, as I already run nitrous on my daily drive I'm looking at putting it on to the BM too. As always I start with the cheaper parts to change first(in case it all goes wrong). And I'm looking to see which would be best of three options,

firstly I have a normal K&N 57i cone which would obviously fitted with a heat shield,

secondly, today I have was given an enclosed induction kit like this one

Or the third option is to just replace with a panel filter.

I think noise-wise the K&N would win, looks-wise the enclosed kit would win but out of the 3 which would run the best???

Next engine mods after the induction will be head polish, intake manifold internal polish, adjustable FPR, exhaust and finally the gas kit.

i would start with a foam panel tbh...not sure other types run as well when it gets hot under the bonnet...the bmc would be my 2nd choice
    what i've felt,what i've known
never shined through in what i've shown.
