    I'm almost sure the systems are different

    For that price you could just get Powerflow or Longlife Exhausts to remove it for you but ensure you keep the cat and have it flanged for easy refitting when the MOT comes around

    thanks again , and by getting a de cat does it make a difference in grunt and performance cheers

    just had a decat done today at exhaustuk in sheffield on my m43 318i. for 125 quid they put me a decat in and also flanged the cat so i can bolt it straight on for mot. powerflow are crap believe me in a few years their exhausts start to rot.
