Hi im asking this question for a friend of mine, he has a 1996 E36 2.8 and has seen this website - RSR Water Injection Calculator and now wants to add a water injection system to his car, is this possible and has anyone on this forum ever tried this? im only asking as he had it done on an old ford escort cosworth but this was years ago

I'm sure it could be fitted, but There is really no need for an engine at his level of tune. His escos was forced induction with higher intake temps etc so it would have been beneficial, but for a lazy straight six, its a bit ott.

my mate asked me to see if i could find out if anyone on here has tried it, if so was there any power gains, as i said he did this on his ford escort cosworth years ago and was thinking of doing the same to his E36, so i take it you would not bother
