Hi all i did gander but couldnt find a lot regarding the info i needed ?

    basicly i have a bmw 328 i sport coupe n reg auto.
the headgasket went so i luckily managed to get another engine complete.
i have a manual gearbox ( from a sport ) and going to transport all this into the car.

i was wondering what other mods i could do to it to improve the performance / torque. i have seen a bit about using the 325 inlet manifold. is this mod for the m50 or is it for the m52 only ?? and anything else that could improve the car. its off the road for a while so id rather get all this done before it goes back on the road. also was wondering where i could get it re mapped localy to me.

    thanks

    regards
    karl.

well, basicly, you can start with the mani replacement, then the exhaust done (depending on how far you wanna go, either cat-back exhaust, or headers + de-cat exhaust), and a remap. and a dave-f intaduction kit. you'd prolly be looking at 220-225 bhp (with de-cat and headers). easy mods and good value for money.
There are only two products required to make the universe work properly: Duct tape and WD40.

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.

Sorry to jack this thread. I have a 328i auto. If i wanted to do the manifold conversion would the donor manifold have to be from an auto?

    Cheers.
