well, i went for a cheap chip from ebay, so i can't really say anything about evolve's tuning skills, i have only tested the car on their rolling road, no tuning involved. but judging on their customers (328i supercharged, a couple of e92 m3's, m5, z4m), i rekon their pretty good with their stuff. also, very friendly, sal from evolve even invited me inside his office to show me how he's doing the remaps and everything. a bit too technical for noobs, but still i found out some things very interesting. from me for evolve!

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.

Not to bad at all mate.
223 is really good . Last time i put mine on with just a superchip came out with 205bhp. Done a little more to it now with dave F ss headers and LSD. So might get done again before it goes away for the 2.9 stroker this winter. Don't think your chip is compatable with my 1991 non vanos.
Good to here though. Do you have any more plans for the engine ??

    Cheers

well, i think apart from a pair of hot cams, i pretty much maxed the bolt-on's. from now on, it's either hot cams, or stroker kit. or both. i would love to stroke it, but it involves some big money to do it. and probably for that kinda money, i could go for an M engine. on the other hand, i would like to modify the existing engine and make a fast M50 out of it. dunno yet, but anyway, defo no plans at all for the near future.
