hi guys, there are loads of posts all over the internet about the 328 being restricted by the manifold.

were any of the other e36 models restricted in the same way.

what i'm realy asking is would i see any real pwer gains if i fitted 325 manifold or any other bmw manifold

    cheers LC

the 323 is also restricted and both the 328 and 323 will benefit from fitting the M50 manifold. These manifolds were on the 325 and 525 However they do need fabricating to fit properly without any leaks

Couple the manifold with a big bore throttle body and remap and you're looking at a real-world 200 bhp - nice.

Yeah, just read the age of your car.

Mine's the same - there's still a few companies out there that chip though.
