    top choice you wont be disapointed! your standard air box is allready a good heat sheild too.

    i had 325 in past and fit there k&n panel filter then went to dyno to see loss of 2-3bhp of power compare to oem stuff (had few runs with oem and k&n stuff),i was bit shocked.

    The genuine OEM filters do flow very well. A mod a lot of people carry out is to just remove the restrictor in the airbox.
    The standard ones just sound quiet....

    I have a dave-f on mine, the only real reason I got it is for the noise. It does pull better at higher revs and it sounds fantastic...

    Steve....which if any would you recommend for me? I would like it to sound better!

    that suprises me ,did you have your restricors removed, mine pulls harder and for a touch longer with my k&n pannle filter, interesting to here this though.
    i defo wouldnt say mine has lost me power if anything i think ive gained a few hp .

    help!!!!! i dont want to loose power i want it to pull better through out the range ,but im so confused.

    TBH I really dont think its that noticable on the road at all....

    thanks steve .maybe i should get an m3 that would easier and it would be nice but dont think bank manager will buy it for me....,
