    how many bhp does it take to spin the air con compressor? my bhp con not working so is it ok to take the belt off and leave it off? any bhp gain as a side effect?

    afaik the compressors have a magnetic clutch on them so you wont actually gain anything by leaving the belt off.
    i would guess at around 5 bhp to run it when its on,but that really is a guess
    what i've felt,what i've known
    never shined through in what i've shown.
