I have retitled and moved this thread to the correct forum which should get you your answers

    Money no object

Can't say I've had the luxury of evaluating that end of the market

If money is no object go for either an Eisennman race system, a BlueFlame system or a UUC system. Either of those will be top end quality, gorgeous noise and can provide afew extra bhp.

BlueFlame will be the easiest as it's in the UK i believe, they tend to deal with TVR but i know afew guys that have them on their E36's love them. Eisennman is well known to be the best but they take ages to build and deliver from Germany. All i've heard about the UUC systems is that they are awesome, not sure how long it would take to get one delivered from the states though.

If ordering parts from the States just be aware that their M3 is different to ours

Cheers RYM, i forgot about that . I think the cat back systems are the same on both UK and US models but i'm not 100% so would be worth checking, or if you decide to go for UUC make sure you state that it's a UK model M3.

Talking about cat's, have you thought about doing race cats. 100 or 200 cell race cats with a supersprint X pipe will make things a little more interesting , that really will release afew ponnies. Couple that with one of the systems mentioned above and you'll have a very nice exhaust system

where to buy second hand systems? any idea's on stores or forums whatever? for now i think i'll maybe just get a backbox as my current one is really badly corroded, then later in a few weeks i'd like to try a decat possibly by milltek.does anyone know this setup? is the milltek decat section compatible fitment wise with other makes of backbox etc? have looked in ebay but the second hand stuff looks almost as bad as what i have on the m3 already, ie knackered!
    regards to all, andrew.

Simpson race exhausts make amazing systems, and alot of one offs too. I'm sure if you got in touch with them they'd give you a quote.

There based in Slough, near Heathrow.

I had mine built from scratch, with choice on look, noise, etc. PM me and I can give you the guy's details, but can't post up here as it will break forum rules.
