Hello. I could do with a bit of info on this realy my tds diesel pump has finaly given up. So I have got a slightly older 535i sport that I can have what eva I need off to do the swap here is a list of what I think the problems I am going to have are can you think of any more and has anyone doen this swap before

    Problems)

    1) will the engine lume just plug into my car lume at the 2 round conectors and work. ( As long as I add fuel pump and relay )

    2) will the in tank petrol pump fit/clip into my diesel touring fuel tank, is there a differance between touring and
Standerd fuel tanks or can I just swap the hole tank.

    3) will the 535i cable peddle just bolt in place of my DBW throtel peddle

    4) gear boxes clutches and props simplest is just use my box and new ish clutch will this work or am I going to have to change the lot.
Are the props the same length.

Has a 535i sport from early 90s got an lsd which is worth me taking

If any one has any other probles am going to fase plz help

O and I only got 4 days to do the swap in befor I got to be back at work lol

You'll have loads to do, changing the tanks, fuel lines, wiring etc.
It's possible, but it would take some time.

The body shells are all the same, but there's a lot of different components.

Had to remove a relay from next to the engine ecu coz it was going mad car starts with it just wired together
Cabel throtel easy to fit steel bar, spring and cable and plastic peddle all that's needded here.
Had to use petrol gear box and both linkages and first prop shaft from the spline slider
First half petrol exhorst with lambder in it the diesel exhorst there back
Diesel fuel tank used and fuel lines just fitted a pump in the bay and a filter, removed the lift pump from tank and ftted a pipe in its place
Rad from the petrol as its got expanshion tank in it, diesel expanshion tank has to go as it hits the head.
