hi guys, just bought a ramair induction kit and they seem to come without the tubing from MAF to the filter, seems like in their design, they're supposed to be fitted right on the MAF, which i dont find it to be a good idea. so, any ideas where i could get some 3" tubing from? or what could i use, in order to bring the filter closer to the headlight?

kit was £49, looks like this, seems to be decent sized and i do trust ramair for their filters, they've been around for a while. just annoyed by the fact that they haven't included a 3" pipe as well in the kit.

    hey buddy
i had a similar issue check out demon tweaks for tubing or even ebay but measure both diam's as i'm sure they maf was larger than the back of the filter on my 328. 80mm reducing to 76mm i think it was on mine yours may well be the same but double check. you'll pick them up no problem.

l.e. i just measured the diameter on both MAF and filter, it's 80mm all the way.

one more question, about the short pipe comming from the MAF to the filter.. i noticed that most of the e36 have their cone filter facing down a bit, like the pipe would be bent. would i need a bent pipe for that, or a straight one will do as well? also, how long should it be? is 10cm enough?
