ok just joined up and have joined for the soul reason of getting some advise on tuning my 320i up

my aim is to hit 200bhp at the FW as i think this is very realistic

now i had it dyno'd on sat 6th nov and it cam out with 161bhp at the FW and 144.5ft-lbs

i have heard that fitting the inlet and TB off the 325i will give me a big gain in ponies but i was wondering about other things like a chip, viener pullies, de-cat/sports cat, cat back, or anything else thats good for a few horse's

like i say i aint wanting massive power but the more over 200bhp(FW) i get the happier i will be

also is there anywhere that i can get an lsd from as welding the diff is just not an option

sorry if i am asking questions that have been asked a million times but i am new to the site lol and still finding my feet

That won't fit your engine, as it was for the older E30's M20 12V.
You'll have a 24v with Vanos, and the vanos does the same as a vernier pulley by moving the cam automatically as you drive.

cool man. where's your cinq gone?
mine was converted with a 328 engine with single vanos.
got de-cat, chip and trumpet intake
gave 220hp last owner said on the rr but i don't have proof of that.
just givin you some idea of the gainsi want to do the m50 engine intake mod sometime, i think the engine is being bottlenecked alot now
i recommend gettin a bigger engine though, the 3litre would be sick

nahhh think i will stick with the 2.0 for the mo as when i get bored of it i have something very special in mind but thats way in the future lol

for now i think m50 conversion, chip and de-cat/sports cat will do oh and an AC front bumper lol as its full badged AC with an evo rear spliter(i think) and the 330Ci wheels

You engine is the M50, so there s no converting to be done.
That was only for 323 and 328s (and 523 728 etc)

oh i thought it was the 325 and 525 that was m50 so i wont gain anything from fitting the inlet and TB off the 325 then or am i mis-understanding this all lol (highly likely since i am used to fiat F,I,R,E engines lol
