    Hello there,

Currrently have a track project 1992 E36 M3 with E46 M3 engine and CSL airbox. The front part of the CSL box (with the flap) doesn't fit into engine bay so currently left with the large main opening (picture attached to show) and was wondering how we can duct air from the front of the car into the airbox to help with pickup/airflow.

Has anyone done this before or recommend someone who is good at this sort of thing?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Andrew.

I would remove the horns from the near side corner and route the air filter to behind the bumper. Remove the fog light and you get plenty of air for the induction. You shouldn´t need fog lights on a track car anyway.
