Alright everyone just stripped the 525i I removed the engine, sport auto gearbox(selling it)and 2moro I get the diff out.Could anyone tell me what else would I need for a conversion-the shell will be taken away 2moro so I don't want to leave any necessary part in it.
P.S.: the diff is bigger that the 1 on my 320 I can see that but is there any point installing it and what would I need for that?
    Cheers

You will need the sump and oil pick up from the E36 as the 5 series sump is different. You will also need an E36 diff beacuse the 5 series diff is a large case diff and the E36 320 diff is a small case diff. The E36 325 uses a medium case 3,15 ratio diff...
If the prop and box do mate up with the diff it will work but wont last long, IIRC the prop will end up too short though...:(
