Hello, I have read up about the advantages of replacing the clutch pipe on my e36 323 with a braided item to remove the clutch delay valve.

I bought myself a braided pipe, made by HEL advertised to specifically remove the CDV. After eyeing it up, neither of the ends on the pipe spin on the pipe (IE, they're not normal 'flared' brake pipe ends) So I don't see how you can fit it, without first kinking the pipe like mad? Am I missing something?

    Ta.

You don't actually need to buy a new hose, you can just remove the cdv.

The CDV screws around the union on the clutch cylinder, then the hose screws around the CDV, you simply undo all of the connections at the clutch end and it allows the hose to spin freely. connect the hose at the pedal end, then remove the cdv and the union will rotate around the solid pipe no problems to tighten it up.
