Turbo cars love cold air, especially after a remap so I like to go with a better intercooler and pre-cats also hold heat in near to the turbo. Main cats aren't such an issue as they are further back so the gases have cooled.

Spoke to a mate today and he said Wagner do some stuff. Downpipe and intercooler.

Anyone know if they are any good? I'm undecided on tuner also. It won't be a basic remap with the pre-cats removed. I would think they would need coding out.
I posted last night but it went in the welcome forum so not sure how many are likely to see it there. I'm looking to get a 135i and will want to do some upgrades. Looking at the parts above or similar and need to find someone suitable to tune it afterwards. What sort of gains can I expect from the above being done?

    Any info much appriciated

    Thanks

    Hi

    Have a look at www.juiceduptuning.co.uk

basically the downpipes give about 10-15bhp but improve throttle response and help the life of the turbos. The intercooler gives about 20bhp and gets rid of the heat soak.

Both work best with a remap and if you want to be around the 400bhp mark safely, they are needed.

Check this out. They have done loads of 135i's and 335's, all with pretty good results. I've visited them a few times, they are very supportive and communicative when it comes to cars, and especially BMW's.
There are only two products required to make the universe work properly: Duct tape and WD40.

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.

As stated, intercoolers would be the next progression.

A good exhaust & intake & intercooler with a remap will see you well up around 400hp.
