Hey guys, first time poster and wanted to ask any remapper/tuner people....

I've read on previous threads about Sprint booster, i'm aware that it gives no gains, but improves throttle response, taking away that small pause (yes i do find it annoying lol) as you set off/pull out.

By doing a remap i know this can also be improved, BUT.... Would a remap be able to take away this small pause like the sprint booster would... Or is it a totally different concept?

If it is different, could they be used in conjunction with each other? If so has anyone run into any issues doing so?

Wouldn't mind a quote for a mapping if anyone can cover around the S62 area or is local.

    Cheers, Adam

When I do a remap on these cars I adjust the drivers wish maps as part of the remap so you will not need a sprint booster fitted
Sprint booster changes the drivers wish by adding a percentage more so if you push down the acclerator 10% the Ecu will see 20% let say

Ah right, does that in effect take away that slight hindrance? I've found even if i do put my foot to the floor when setting off it still 'thinks about it' and kicks in... it's only probably about 0.5 - 1 second at the most, but you might agree when you're wanting a quick pull out at a junction its the last thing you need lol.
Just thought if it's only doubling what the input is, by me flooring it would be the same effect right? or would the overall effects of the remap sort that?

    Thanks for your reply!

    After our remap
If it's a manual then if you need to pull away fast the revs will stay up rather then just dropping on pull away

On autos it will have a lot more response

    This is after our remap

If you would like to see what is dose then give me a call and I will remap your car for you to test drive the remap we make

Hi, what would the difference be between a remap and sport mode on an automatic 20 petrol.

Sports mod just holds on to the gear for longer

A remap will give the car more torque as well as throttle response
