I have an E46 323i Saloon with 140k on the clock and full service history.

I fancy lowering it and putting bigger BBS wheels on and would also like an understated body kit and maybe chipped and a respray.

Would it be worth it given the mileage, or would it be lost money?

Anyway, what would you do if you had the funds?

I haven't ruled that out. My insurance shouldn't be too bad aged 48 with full NCD. I only paid £1k for the 323i so should get my money back.

I'm not convinced you can really get a 330 worth having for that money yet... Save a little longer?

    i would do:
    Lowering springs £200
    M3 Lower control arm £250
    Strut brace £100
    Custom exhaust £400
    Alloys £900
    Big bore Throttle body £250
    Chip £250
    Induction Kit £150

    £2500

you will never get back the money you pay out on modifying but you do it for the enjoyment at the time.
