What engine size??? It could be air leak after MAF, Exhaust blow before Lambda sensor etc? Need more info

its a 318i the engine management light came up with a cam shaft sensor so that has been replaced so its just the fuel trim now. The engine feels like its holding back when you put your foot down so it can be a bit dangerous pulling out especially on roundabouts.

What was the engine fault code number and what year is your e46?

My brother cant remember the code he thinks it p1174 but the light has'nt come back on again yet as ive been taking it easy. my car is a w reg year 2000.

The fault on the engine management was the air mass meter i was just inside my warranty so got it fixed for free. It drive like a dream now.
