Hi, just had a call from the garage to say the car has failed it's MOT because of the rear shock absorber leaking.

Any idea how long it's likely to take in labour, parts etc and what I should expect?

Rear shock is one of the easiest components to replace, and would take the 1/2 hr rate to change. Best to do it in pairs as well, but single replacement is good enough.

Thanks Neal, I've decided to have both done, it's 1 hours labour and I've gone for some Belstien's at 45 a side, rather than the genuine ones at 132!
