2003 E46 330d - Changing front wishbones

Hi have a 330d 2003 and have recently changed the front wishbone rear bushes due to a knocking sound from the front end. This has greatly improved the problem but there is still a slight knock. How difficult is it to change the front wishbones. Any help would be much appreciated.

front wishbones are handy enough done, the inner one can be awkward but can be accessed from the top, engine bay with 2 extension bars on your half inch drive ratchet, i done both side on my old e46 330d sport,

have you also checked droplinks, as they can cause a knock, cheap and easy fix!!

Yep already replaced the drop links and bushes in the centre of the roll bar but they made no difference. Can't really feel any play in the ball joints but the knock must be coming from somewhere.
