Angry 2003 E46 320d - Urgent glow plug help please. (FIXED)

Hi, I am just changing my glow plugs, 3 have come straight out but one is stuck, the main part of the plug have come out but the bit that goes inside the engine is stuck solid, I have spayed some oil in to try and lubricate it but its not budging. I have currently got my mole grips attached to it and I have left it to soak in oil to see if that will free it up.

Has anyone got any ideas how to get it out?

I wondered about attaching the mole grips to it then tapping it in slightly will this work or cause damage.

Any help or ideas will be much appreciated

Thanks Mick.

Penetrating oil is the best to use on a coked up plug. Leave it to soak for a while and start undoing very carefully. In the past, I had to break open the element and use a reverse drill bit to remove it. Hopefully, you won't need to go this far.

I sorted it, I tried for over an hour to shift it and it would not move. i then tried screwing the top bit of the plug back in quite tight then I took it out again, luckily it gripped the part that was stuck and it came out.!
