    Hi

My roof has been a little tempremental recently and has takena couple of button presses to get it to go down or up. What has been happening the last week or so is that i'll press the open switch and the latch will unlock and the roof open slightly. Then , I need to tap the switch a couple of times and the roof would go down.

It was the same for going up - a couple or more presses to get it moving.

Now, today, it didn't want to work at all - but it was roasting hot and i persevered and it went down after a while. Predictably, when I finally got home and put the car to bed, the roof wouldn't close. Even after some patience and furious button tapping it wouldn't budge. I finally closed it manually. When I did close it, it locked itself down to cloose itself securely and i didn't need the allan key.

Now, I'm assuming it can't be the pump as it has been working intermittently?? When i press the button, it flashed red which is what it always says when it's opening. (doesn't yellow mean there's a sensor issue?) Also, when the button is pressed, I hear a clicking noise that sounds like a relay operating. This is coming from the rear nearside of the car.

Does anyone have any ideas before I swallow hard and find a stealer to check it??

    Thanks in advance.

    Matt

Could that be the clicking relay type noise? Do relays live in there???
