    Hi,

    E46 318i 2002 2.0 N42 UK

(I am watching the wedding but working on my motor at the same time !).

Just wondering if any one can help, my PA Software is reporting that post o2 sensor CAT BANK 2 is failing :

-First error over two months 2727 Lambda Sensor Timing Post Cat Bank 2

-Yesterday Second error 2724 Lambda Sensor Sensor Post Cat Bank 2 Signal

Where is CAT BANK 2 Been searching all over the Net I have 5 sensors 3 of them regulating and 2 Monitors, one of the monitors is on the manifold cat and the other is on the middle pipe after the middle cat.

I'm proper confused, I want to replace it but, want to replace the right one, also I am hoping in replacing this it will solve my intermittent power issues at certian Speed and RPM (I have a manual 5 speed).

The o2 Sensor in question seems to be getting worse as the error 2724 is new, and it seems the power issue is getting worse.

Thanks for anyone who took the time out to read this post.

bank 2 is rearmost cylinders, so guessing the top lambda in the pic (monitor) is the one to replace.
or someone on here will know for definite
    what i've felt,what i've known
never shined through in what i've shown.

The bank 2 sensor 2 location is the very last O2 sensor on the whole system, replaced it today and no codes, got a new one though under abs (weird) brake switch held longer than 10s or faulty. Can't clear it either ? Any ways not sure if it's a placebo effect or not but it seems a bit smoother to drive, not a massive difference. Not sure it's money well spent but the old one looked really knackered and no more codes. cheers mate (80 quid from euros for the sensor).
