    Folks,

Had my rear brake lines changed a few weeks ago, entire pipes up to the engine bay and I'm not entirely sure my ABS is working correctly now. Had a bit of a run down the avenue at home and each time I braked I got a little skid at the end and audible tyre squeal.

I didn't feel any judder in the pedal but realistically my not have been going fast enough. Any suggestions as to how else I might test it. I'm assuming a pebble road or even a wet field would be a better choice...

The ABS will kick in at 5 mph, just remember the snow we had.

Who changed your brake lines, was it BMW?
The reason I ask is that when the brake system is opened and the fluid drains out of the ABS block, its very difficult to remove the air without opening up all the valves in the block, this can only be done with the BMW computer or similar.

I had the same issue on my Audi, I had to cycle the ABS pump several times to get the fluid through.
