Hi all,
Any help would be appreciated. I've done a bit of research but could do with some expert help
I have an e36 compact with a 1.9 petrol engine. It's a 2000 model.
When starting in cold weather, it is very stuttering for about 5 mins, the egr pump is going during this time too. After the 5 minutes it runs sweet as a nut.
I've read that it could either be a dodgy egr valve (I've cleaned it as best I can, but will replace if required) and/or the engine coolant temp sensor at the bottom of the radiator?
Just wondered if I might be looking in the most logical areas for this issue?
I've replaced the coil pack, spark plugs, leads, maf, air filter etc. all to no avail...
Any thoughts please
Many thanks,
Mark
