    Hey all,

    I'm having some problems after getting my carb refurb'd (E30 316 87).

When I'm driving at constant speed at low revs and then I go to accelerate the car kind shudders. If I do it when out of gear I can hear the revs briefly drop (1/4 second) before revving as it should normally. What could cause this? Somewhere in my mind I think rotating the distributor cap could fix it, but maybe you guys could advise?

    Thanks,
    Kev

Sounds like fuel starvation rather than ignition. I'd be looking to make sure they've been reassembled correctly.

Thanks. I think I'll send it back to the guy who refurb'd it.
