    Hi There,

I know this problem has been asked in the past but I cannot see any definitive answers.

I didn't use my car for a while and the battery went flat. I took it out to charge. When I put it back in the car, the front windows were not working. They have not worked since.

I can hear the relays clicking behind the glove box.

I've changed all the fuses under the bonnet
I've tried taking the battery out again and leaving (hoping this would reset)
I've tried the window reset procedure (holding the button down sequence)

I ran the BMW DIS software and got the error messages shown in the attachement.

Previous posts I've read have suggested to check the wiring near the boot hinge.

The fact that they both stopped working together should mean its not a motor issue or anything similar.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

In case that attachement is too small to read I've typed out the message. If anyone could tell me what it means, that would be great:

    Diagnosis FAULT MEMORY
    1 Relay for
    FH, passenger's door and
    FH, passender's side rear

    Fault currently present

    Possible causes:
    - Relay in relay module does not pick up or sticks.
    - Wire from general-module plug B (green), pin 15 to black relay-module plug, pin 2 faulty

    Diagnosis ACTIVATION

    CAUTION - DANGER!

No anti trapping mechanism is active!!!!

Abortion of activation is carried out after a delay!!!!
