    Hi Guys

    im new here
    just got my very first BMW

    loved the car so much forgot to check one main thing

    the heating/AC unit doesnt work...
    no lights no air nothing at all

    checked the fuses all look fine...

    can someone please advice me..

    its probably not a factor but i recently kept getting cold air with the heating full on then it started overheating and the head gasket popped so have to strip it all down.

    doesn't sound like this is the cause of your problem but something to be aware of as it is easily preventable...

    have you checked to see if the ac has been removed and if not have it checked and regassed as thats what it might need it usally costs around 100 to have the system checked and regassed

    I would say its fuse or relay fault, below is a link to a page with common AC faults found using the search function, hope this helps you.

    the internal unit in the car
    where you select to turn on/off the heating
    doesnt work
    their is no response from any button

    You saying the climate control module doesn't even switch on ?

    If not, make sure it's plugged in.... Next would be to check you have 12v coming in, if you have 12v, then you'll need a new unit.

    Could just be old and passed it's sell by date, or someone has attempted to do the fix to it and screwed it up further.

    yeah that correct the climate control module doesnt switch at all
    how can i check if its pluged in or not??

    Pull your OBC or clock out (Which ever your car has) then reach up inside and push the module out from behind...

    Just be careful when pushing it out, as the wiring can be a little on the short side !
