lift the back seat out you will see a red handle pull this it will drop the two motors out in the boot you can now move the roof by hand remember you will have to put the two motors back for auto close
you can if you can open the top of the roof. I think there is an allen key hole were the front motor is near your rear view mirror. When you get that up there is a red handle under the back seat on the passanger side. Pull this and it disconects the two motors in the boot. Lift the back of the roof open the horse shoe and fold it down. Only problem you will have is keeping the horse shoe down. Hope that helps
sounds like either a dodgy switch or loose wiring somewere. When you say it works fine is it slugish at going up or down
