    Hi all

    Can anybody shed some light on these fault codes please they are to do with my self leveling suspension on my e61 touring?

    5F99=control time fault lifting right rear????????????
    5F95=control time fault lifting left rear??????????
    5F9A=control time fault lifting?????????????

    The problem ive got is that I dont know what parts I require and I dont want to just start changing loads of different stuff. Ive already changed the split hose which had a very small split in it about 6-7 months ago and everything was fine until recently when the self level warning light keeps coming on more regular.

    Hope somebody can help as it doing my head in!!!!!!

    Regards J

    All the same fault, the computer times how long it takes to restore the ride height and if the time is too long, it normally means the compressor is a tad tired and needs replacing......

    If it is the compressor it will tend to be at it worst on colder days when the seals are not so soft.

    I accept no responsibilty for any damage done if you do this, but try putting a few drops of AFT oil in the inlet hose to moisten the seals and valves

    hi guys

    thanks for the replies

    What is strange is that car seems to jack it self up ok when I first switch the car on but when I park the car on the drive after using it, It drops right down almost putting the arch onto the wheel, but I can never tell which side its going to be because its all so random which side it chooses???? also sometimes the car will just stay level on both sides?????

    I swear it does it to annoy me

    Cheers J
