Is there a haynes manual for this car ? can I hell as like reset the computer details from left hand stalk any advice would be good. cheers

For the engine, there's no Haynes manual - V8's (535i, 540i and M5) aren't covered. Bently do:

But it's pricey!

There is a Haynes for the 'lesser' E39's - which should cover most of the components shared across the range (bodywork, switchgear etc etc etc).

why not look in your hand book??

It's in your handbook, go to what you want using the left hand stalk eg, average mpg when your on it, hold down the obc button on the stalk

just will not zero anything ??

You can only reset the average miles per gallon and the average speed I think

Once your on the average mpg just hold down the obc button and it will reset it
