Hi all , i have a e91 318d some one told me that there is a conversion for a dual mass fly wheel into single , can anyone shed any light on this for me . Will be glad of any info thanks

There are various threads on this. Its a common swap for VAG cars, but only where the gearbox was originally manufactured with an SMF (ie 5 speed box on 1.9 TDI engines).
Boxes that were designed to have DMF are balanced and other parts such as driveshafts are designed for less vibration. Going SMF on this would increase vibes and risk damaging something else, not to mention the additional vibration.
Its up to you, but I would rather replace with a DMF, the price is a lot lower thesedays if you shop around too.
You will regret it....car will be noisier, more vibrations, etc.
Ain't worth it.
