Emaps Performance Shop We are a UK company based just outside Birmingham and have been writing Engine Management Software for over 15 years. Our Engine Management Software is written and tested in-house at our Head Quarters located in Germany using the most up to date technology. This enables us to give our customers the best tuning solution for your car making sure drivability, economy and reliability are maximised. Using the most advanced OBD-II Serial Port Programming we are able to tune most of today's modern ECU's, releasing hidden power. In most cases the software is applied through the car's diagnostic port (OBD-II socket) so we don’t even have to raise the bonnet.

Yes Mr E-Maps, what about deals? I asked the same question on behalf of other members in your welcome thread. No reply as yet

Sorry Neal, I missed your post.

It is difficult to give deals and discounts as the service I offer is mobile. Fuel costs are the problem and the further away you are the higher my travel costs.

What I do offer is group buys at the weekend in any chosen location. I have one this weekend organised on another forum in Reading. Last weekend I was in Bluewater, Kent.

If anyone is interested in a Group buy post on here and we can arrange a convenient location for everyone.

This sounds very appealing.

Would you come to a South West meet some time?

What is the minimum group discount required, just for reference?

South West isnt a problem. For the group buy prices I need a minimum of 5 cars, cost is £195 for non turbo and turbo are £275 all in. I do need 5 cars minimum for these prices.

Prices depend on your location as we are mobile, drop me a pm where you would like the remap done and I can let you know the price.

Default Could be with you A20 RYM

I will have a few questions for my 330i......like if I really need to tell the insurance and what it would do to my premium.....and how many extra bhp are likely.....and if I can still use normal unleaded cos premium is darn expensive......

But other than those, I could be the 2nd candidate for a South West meet as I am based in Stroud and can get to say Bristol very easily.

Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy, in theory you are supposed to inform your insurance company of any modification you make to your car. Some insurance companies dont charge extra premium, some do and some wont ever cover you with any mods.

Fuel, you can still use normal 95ron unleaded as the engine knock sensors will adjust the mapping for the lower octane fuel.

Cool. What kind of performance improvements (numbers and qualitative) could I expect on normal vs premium unleaded. Thanks, Andy
